Remixed this for the wonderful Ava Cherry, David Bowie's former girlfriend and Luther Vandross backing vocalist, that's how David Bowie met her on the Luther studio sessions in New York he did for the Young American's album, Bowie was responsible in many ways for bringing the voice of Luther to the attention of other record labels including the Change "Glow Of Love" classic recording. Two mixes on this for Ava, a Soul II Soul pastiche vibe that Jazzy loved plus the uptempo House mix with a huge atmosphere setting intro synth. All done in MCA Music Publishing studio's on the Fulham Palace Road in Hammersmith one Sunday with engineer Don Mitchell and Nigel Lowis on programming. Both mixes went down well with AVA and the DJs although they were totally different styles - check the Soundcloud link below. There is not a Youtube video on this one just yet. Worked with Ava again in 2019, a very vibrant and interesting woman... 

I loved the Soul mix and personally feel that the House Dub was one of my best mixes, such a build up then that hitting strong groove. Debuted the mix in a Wigan Club in Lancashire one weekend with Tong on decks before going to Cream in Liverpool - both crowds were a littled 'E'd up for the night so that big noisy opening got them chomping like a Space ship was about to land and another #1 remix was landing for Mr West End too.
